What are JuJu Bees Retreats?

Our Story

JuJu Bees Retreats started in 2019 with a happy little mystery: quilters everywhere owned AccuQuilt machines… but many weren’t sure how to use them. Boxes stayed closed, projects felt overwhelming, and Julie Sosebee knew quilting should feel exciting, not stressful. So she created something better than a class — a creative escape where learning feels fun and progress happens fast.

What began as small sew days quickly turned into full-on quilting retreats across the country. At JuJu Bees, you don’t just stitch — you play with fabric, master your AccuQuilt system, learn smart shortcuts, and finally finish those projects you’ve been dreaming about. Julie guides you step-by-step, whether you’re brand new to AccuQuilt or ready to level up your skills.

A JuJu Bees Retreat is part workshop, part vacation, and part quilt party.
