Founded in 2010, Julie Sosebee realized that there were quilters in her area that owned AccuQuilt machines and dies but had never used them. When she began to inquire about their machines and dies, she learned that many had never even opened them. The willingness to spread her love of AccuQuilt system to the world took over and just like that, JuJu Bees Retreats was born.
Julie started her quest by holding small classes with 8-10 people in a local quilt store. She realized that there were others, not in her local area, with the same problem. They have the cutting system, but have never used it. So Julie got to work, researching and reaching out to others in this situation and realized she could hold classes at retreat centers. This move made it possible for those from other states and outside her local area to participate in this fun filled learning process.
Which bring us to current day and her mission to help anyone learn all about their AccuQuilt machines and the easy, beautiful quilts they can create.
